Charles Treasure, M.D., has been conducting cardiovascular research for 25 years, including more than a decade of work in the Knoxville area. His early work involved physiological trials that tested the body’s cardiac responses to various external stimuli and laid the groundwork for many of today’s trials, keeping Dr. Treasure at the forefront of cardiac care.
Current Clinical Trials
Current clinical trials focus on acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, the reduction of heart damage in heart attack patients, reduction of cholesterol, prevention of MI and sudden cardiac death, treatment of arrhythmias and metabolic syndrome and trials focused on reducing blood vessel inflammation.
