Tennova Urology Opens New Urology Clinic in Powell
KNOXVILLE, TN (January 19, 2024) - Tennova rang in the new year with a new urology clinic in Powell, TN! The citizens of Powell have gained a modern urology clinic this week at 7565 Dannaher Dr, Suite G10, Powell, TN. This is Tennova Urology’s 8th location so far.
Construction began early in 2023, and the final results are a new 5,000 square foot urology clinic that boasts several amenities, including natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows in a spacious, comfortable lobby, a large procedure room with the latest in equipment, and seven exam rooms that are designed with a patient’s comfort in mind. Tennova Urology offers innovative treatments and advanced technology, including robotic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic techniques. They provide specialized treatment for complex issues along with quality care for routine urology services such as incontinence and vasectomies. Tennova Urology now has 8 locations to serve you that include our newest location Powell along with Halls, Knoxville (East Towne and Turkey Creek), Oak Ridge, Sweetwater, Jefferson City and LaFollette. Our providers include Dr. Adam Shrewsberry, Dr. Sean Delair, Dr. Leor Arbel, Dr. Katherine Cameron and Laura Moore Price, FNP-BC.

In addition to the new urology clinic, Tennova Healthcare - North Knoxville Medical Center houses an imaging center, radiation oncology department, labor and delivery, surgery center, women’s services, primary care service, a sleep center and more. A major expansion is also underway for a new patient tower to open in March 2024. This expansion allows the hospital to grow as the community it serves does the same and will support the increase in patient traffic at the North Knoxville Medical Center. The new patient tower includes 28 ICU beds, 28 adult acute beds, an expanded emergency department and support spaces for training and education. In addition to the new patient tower, Tennova will expand and renovate areas within the existing building.
